London Has Fallen (2016) score: 49%

I had a good time watching London Has Fallen, but I’m definitely not proud of that. It feels like it was made for the kind of Daily Express-reading knuckle-draggers who think that anybody with skin darker than sand should be sent back to ‘Fuckheadistan’ (an actual word coined by Gerard Butler’s unstoppable protagonist).

Despite the racist undertones, the action is well-choreographed and the destruction of London landmarks is both thrilling and chilling. That’s all that’s good about it though. The script is also crammed with the kind of crap dialogue and cheesy lines you’d expect from a Moore-era Bond film.
