Jurassic Park 3 (2001) score: 56%
I used to enjoy Jurassic Park 3 when I was 11, but not anymore. It achieves the difficult task of feeling as long as the first two films while actually consisting of thirty less minutes.
Considering the uncharacteristic initial reason why Dr Grant (Sam Neill) has to return to the island, it’s hard to give a shit when we find out that he’s been brought there under false pretenses by the intensely irritating Tea Leoni and disappointly flat William H. Macy. The drama is cheaper than before and less exciting, thus it’s clear why the runtime feels stretched despite its brief nature.
