Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015) score: 29%
Somehow the first movie made enough money to warrant a sequel…
This time round Blart is still a painfully irritating vacuum of buffoonery who’s also somehow frustratingly boring. And he’s still obese. Those are his only traits. Oh, and he’s still very lonely. I propose that’s not because both his wives have left him, but because he’s so devoid of personality that not even an eternally alone 90-year old woman on a park bench would want to speak to him.
This film has one redeeming feature. Neal McDonough makes a better bad guy than Keir O’Donnell did. But that’s it.
