Snakes on a Plane (2006) score: 55%

In another breath I might give Snakes on a Plane a much lower score, because it truly is terrible. But I believe it is consciously and purposely terrible. It’s a B-movie, and a very successful one. While a memorable movie this does not make, with its cheesy lines, an obsession with sexualising as many scenes as possible and unashamedly dodgy effects, it is intermittently sort of fun.

And as is the B-movie standard, you can leave your brain at the door. In doing so, however, you might find yourself jumping at the jump-scares and consequently feeling quite ashamed of yourself.
